FIND OF THE MONTHS RULES

1. Find of the months is a M.T.H. Members only event.

2. You must have been an M.T.H. member in good standing for at least one month at the time your find was entered.

3. As a visitor or first meeting member, participation is limited to observing and voting for your choice for Finds of the Month.

4. Items entered Must Have Been Found While Treasure Hunting, with or without a detector.

5. All entered finds must have recovered in the time period between the last M.T.H. meeting and the current meeting.

6. You must be present and enter your own finds.

7. Any disputes, as to category, shall be aired and resolved before finds are entered, prior to viewing and voting.

8. Only one item per member per category of Jewelry, Military, Coin, Token and Relic, may be entered each meeting. Remember the relic category is a catchall—if it isn’t a coin, a piece of jewelry or a token it is entered as a relic. It doesn’t have to be a certain age or historical significance.

9. Items must be displayed in original found condition with the exception of cleaning and /or polishing. Items found in pieces can only be reassembled with original pieces found in same hole. Item originally joined by design or in a container shall be considered one find, if found in same hole.

10. Print name on back if entry only. No extra print materials allowed. No dollar value may be listed on entry form

11. No campaigning at meeting.
